* Learn how biodegradation has been used for treatment of oily sludges and refinery waste;

* Learn how tests must be made to determine if microorganisms are naturally occurring which will breakdown the target chemicals;

* Learn which design criteria are the key factors for biodegradation;

* Learn how with in-situ leachate treatment a reactant may be introduced into the contaminated region to interact with the leachate plume;

* Learn about the design criteria for chemical injection systems;

* Learn how permeable treatment beds may be employed;

* Learn how limestone may be employed to neutralize acidic ground water and remove heavy metals such as Cd, Fe, and Cr.; and

* Learn when activate carbon may be employed to remove certain contaminants.
